Terms & Conditions for current 20% promotion

The discount is only valid between 11th and 21st July inclusive and discount CANNOT be refunded on orders placed outside of these times.
To redeem the discount online, the discount code LA2655THC
(also found on homepage) MUST be typed in the ‘Promotions & Gift Vouchers’ section of the online order form. Lucy Art CANNOT refund discount if the code is absent or used incorrectly.
This is an online offer only and is only valid on orders over £50.
Lucy Art reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time and if the demand is great, delivery times may be exceeded.

Delivery Times

All items under ‘Original Art’ are bespoke canvases that are each hand painted to order by Lucy Art’s resident artist Rob Haigh. All original art takes approx 21-28 working days from order to despatch. This time scale excludes weekends and Bank Holidays. Approx 72 hours after an order is placed, an e-mail will be sent detailing your exact despatch and delivery date.
All ‘Photo2...’ and ‘Canvas Print’ orders take approx 5-7 working days to be despatched. This time scale excludes weekends and Bank Holidays. This time scale commences once Lucy Art has received the order plus payment and the relevant images. Lucy Art will acknowledge receipt of all these criteria by e-mailing a despatch and delivery date.

Please Note: Lucy Art CANNOT allocate a despatch date for your order until full payment has been made and, in the case of Photo2… orders, the relevant images have been received.

If you have not been e-mailed a despatch date with approx 72 hours of your full order being placed, please contact the gallery to check that payment has been successful and your images have been received.

Any items from the ‘Art in Stock’ section, if ordered before 12pm, can be delivered the next working day. If you require delivery on a certain date, please specify this in the special instructions box at the checkout of the online order form.

Digital Wallpaper takes approx 7-10 working days from order to despatch. An e-mail will be sent on the day of despatch informing of delivery the following day.
PLEASE REMEMBER YOU CAN LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME USING YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS & PASSWORD FOR A REMINDER OF YOUR DESPATCH DATE.

You can also change your delivery address through your online account up to 72 hours prior to despatch however please contact the gallery for confirmation of the amendment. If you wish to change your address within 72 hours of your despatch date, please contact the gallery first.

Delivery
If you have not paid for a Saturday delivery then all deliveries are made between 9am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. The parcel WILL require a signature so please ensure you choose a suitable delivery address taking this into account. Alternatively Lucy Art is able to deliver to neighbour or relative’s houses, work places but NOT PO Box addresses.

If no-one is able to accept the delivery at the address given, please leave a SIGNED note on the front door advising the courier where to leave the parcel i.e. on the property, neighbour, local Post Office etc.

If delivery is unsuccessful, the parcel will be returned to the local depot and delivery will be attempted again the next day.

PLEASE NOTE Lucy Art uses outside couriers and the couriers CANNOT call clients for any reason. Delivery dates are advised with plenty of advance therefore we would appreciate your assistance in calling or e-mailing the gallery if you have any problems.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT LUCY ART CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELIVERY DELAYS THAT OCCUR ONCE YOUR PARCEL HAS BEEN DESPATCHED, ALTHOUGH ALL EFFORTS WILL BE MADE TO AID CLIENTS IN ANSWERING THEIR CONCERNS AND CONTACTING THE COURIERS.

Original Art in Custom Colours – Very Important!

If you order an item from our original art section and chose ‘I want to specify my own colours’ from the dropdown on the product page, Lucy Art requests that RELEVANT COLOURS SAMPLES ARE ALWAYS POSTED TO US (unless black or white).

If you have a specific colour in mind and are unsure if the un-customised painting on the website will match, please bear in mind that differences in PC monitor and printer settings can affect colour perception and POST A SAMPLE to ensure the standard painting will be created to suit your space.

When ordering online, please make a note in the special instructions box at the checkout that samples are to be expected. If you simply make a note of the colours that required without posting samples, you are subject to the following clause;

If you choose to return your canvases because the colours are incorrect but you failed to submit a sample when the artwork was first created, unless it is our mistake, then a minimum fee of £50 will be charged to cover the re-working of the painting, collection and re-delivery. We will advise of the cost before reworking commences. Once the canvases have been returned, you will be issued a new despatch date which is subject to a 10 working day lead time.

Samples can be anything from magazine cuttings and DIY shop paint cards to fabric swatches and wallpaper; basically anything with your colours on! Once your samples arrive, you will be sent an e-mail acknowledging their receipt. If you do not receive an e-mail shortly after you have posted your samples, please contact the gallery as the absence of samples may delay the despatch of your art.

No Quibble Returns Policy

‘Original Art’ & ‘Canvas Prints’ returns only
Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, if you have received goods from Lucy Art but simply changed your mind regarding their purchase, you may return these items for a full refund subject to the following conditions;

  • Items must be returned to Lucy Art in a saleable condition and in their original packaging. Any damage that has occurred to the items whilst in your possession may affect your refund.
  • Lucy Art MUST be notified of your intent to return an item within 7 days of receipt and then the item itself must be returned within the 7 days that follow that notification. Lucy Art CANNOT refund on items returned outside of this procedure.
  • Goods are NOT Photo2… orders (please see next section)

Lucy Art recommends that returns are arranged through www.parcel2go.com.
Lucy Art is able to refund the cost of the return postage (Mainland UK only) to a maximum of £12. If you are quoted a higher price, please call or e-mail the gallery on 0845 659 0660.
Please ensure that order details and the return postage costs are enclosed with your goods to aid us in processing your refund as quickly as possible. Once the goods are back with us, an e-mail will be sent in reply to your refund request.
Any problems with any part of your order must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.

'Photo2…' Returns Only

As our ‘Photo2…’ is a bespoke service, any items that are delivered as described and are in good condition may NOT be refunded. Damaged items will be exchanged free of charge. We reserve the right to charge for re-posting returned bespoke items that have been especially produced to meet your personal requirements.
All 'Pop Art', ‘Comic Art’, 'Collage' canvases and any other 'Special Effects' will be proofed via e-mail to the client prior to printing. Please note that we never go to print without the approval of a proof therefore a delay in response may affect your issued despatch date.
If you decide not to proceed with a ‘Special Effect’ order after your image has been proofed, we can refund the canvas cost but not the additional design fee as the work will already have been done.

‘Comic Art’ & ‘Pop Art’ Photo2…

Please note the extra charge quoted is per person or object (e.g. a portrait with 2 people would be £60 extra - please contact us if in doubt). If you submit an order with more than one person in the image, you will be contacted by Lucy Art to arrange additional payment.
‘Collage’ Photo2…
The collage fee entitles the client to submit up to 10 images. Any further images required will be charged at £2 each. If you submit an order with more than 10 images involved, you will be contacted by Lucy Art to arrange additional payment.

Cancellation policy

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, orders CANNOT be cancelled once production has commenced or a proof has been agreed.

Damages

Full refunds or exchanges will be made for any items lost or damaged during transit. To qualify, please keep all packaging and/or artwork as delivered and notify us within 24 hours of the item arriving. For weekend deliveries, please call 0845 659 0660 and leave a message on our answer phone or email sales@lucyart.co.uk.

Please check the entire box for damage and, if possible, open the parcel and view the contents. Otherwise we advise all customers to sign, "NOT CHECKED" with the courier and score through any small print accepting the condition of the parcel if you have any doubts about damage upon delivery.

Your friend or family member will receive their £5 gift voucher code upon registering their details with us and if they place a successful order within the following 90 days, you will receive your £5 gift voucher code.
'Recommend a Friend' Terms & Conditions

  • The offer is open to any existing customers recommending new customers.
  • Each individual voucher code that is issued by Lucy Art may only be used once.
  • A maximum of 5 separate voucher codes may be used on any one particular order.
  • Vouchers can only be redeemed by the user who they are issued to.
  • Vouchers are non transferable.
  • Vouchers cannot be used in with conjunction with any other offer.
  • Vouchers are only valid for purchases on the Lucy Art web site and have no redeemable cash value.
