General Note Of How We Work
All items are produced lovingly by hand for you, after we receive your order. Rob Haigh paints all art (unless in stock or guest artist and they will paint or provide prints as noted) to order from "Original canvas art" section and all "Photo2.." and "Canvas Prints" are printed and manufactured by hand in house upon receipt of your order. We put a lot of time, effort and care into your order and if you are in any doubt with size or colour you can call or email us or send colours for us to match/compliment to reduce the risk of error/returns. We can sort any problems and match any scheme for you. Thank You

All items under ‘Original Art’ are bespoke canvases that are each
hand painted to order by Lucy Art’s resident artist Rob Haigh. All
original art takes approx 21 working days from order to despatch. This
time scale excludes weekends and Bank Holidays. If you need quicker please contact us to enquire, we like to help where possible. Despatch dates are issued
via e-mail on a Tuesday or Thursday, which is when we schedule all deliveries.
Please call us if you have any concerns.
All ‘Photo2...’ and ‘Canvas Print’ orders take
approx 5-7 working days to be despatched. This time scale excludes weekends
and Bank Holidays. This time scale commences once Lucy Art has received
the order plus payment and the relevant images. Lucy Art will acknowledge
receipt of all these criteria by e-mailing a despatch and delivery date.
Please Note: Lucy Art CANNOT allocate a despatch date for your
order until full payment has been made and, in the case of Photo 2, Photographic
Wallpaper orders, the relevant images must have been received.
If you have not been e-mailed a despatch date on the Tuesday or
Thursday after your order has being placed, please contact us
to check that your order has been successful and or your images have been
received.
Any items from the ‘Art in Stock’ section, if ordered before
12pm, can be delivered in 2 working days. If you require delivery on
a certain date, please specify this in the additional information box at
the checkout of the online order form.
Digital Wallpaper orders take approx 14-21 working days
from order to despatch. An e-mail with a provisional despatch date will
be sent shortly after your order is placed and then an e-mail with your
exact delivery date will be sent nearer the despatch date.
PLEASE REMEMBER YOU CAN LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME USING YOUR E-MAIL
ADDRESS & PASSWORD FOR A REMINDER OF YOUR DESPATCH DATE.
You can also change your delivery address through your online account
up to 72 hours prior to despatch, however please contact us for
confirmation of the amendment. If you wish to change your address within
72 hours of your despatch date, please contact us first.
Delivery
We now offer a 1 hour delivery slot on all UK Mainland
deliveries *. Simply enter your up to date mobile number or email address
whilst ordering and you will receive a text or email on the morning of
delivery.
Your exact delivery date is sent via email within 72 hrs (exc weekends
and bank holidays) of ordering, via email.
Remember to check your emails or have your phone switched on, on the day
of delivery.
* Scottish Highlands/Remote areas and certain postcodes are excluded but you can still track in your account from www.lucyart.co.uk
If you have not paid for a Saturday delivery then all deliveries are made
between 8am & 5pm, Monday to Friday. The parcel WILL require a signature
so please ensure you choose a suitable delivery address taking this into
account. Alternatively Lucy Art is able to deliver to a neighbour, relative's
houses or work place but NOT PO Box addresses.
If no-one is able to accept the delivery at the address given, please
leave a SIGNED note on the front door advising the courier where to leave
the parcel i.e. on the property, neighbour etc.
If delivery is unsuccessful, the parcel will be returned to the local
depot and delivery will be attempted again the next day.
PLEASE NOTE Lucy Art uses outside couriers and the couriers CANNOT call
clients for any reason. Delivery dates are advised with plenty of advance
notice and therefore we would appreciate your assistance in calling or
e-mailing us if you have any problems.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT LUCY ART CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY DELIVERY DELAYS THAT OCCUR ONCE YOUR PARCEL HAS BEEN DESPATCHED,
ALTHOUGH ALL EFFORTS WILL BE MADE TO AID CLIENTS IN ANSWERING THEIR CONCERNS
AND CONTACTING THE COURIERS.
‘Original Art’ & ‘Canvas Prints’ returns only
(If canvas print or painting has been customised to suit your space please
see section regarding custom colours)
Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, if you
have received goods from Lucy Art but simply changed your mind regarding
their purchase, you may return these items for a full refund subject to
the following conditions;
· Items must be returned to Lucy Art in a saleable condition and
in their original packaging. Any damage that has occurred to the
items whilst in your possession may affect your refund. Please contact us to arrange the return.
· Lucy Art MUST be notified of your intent to return an item within
7 days of receipt and then the item itself must be returned within the
7 days that follow that notification. Lucy Art CANNOT refund on
items returned outside of this procedure.
· Goods are NOT Photo2, Digital Wallpaper or Acrylic Art
orders (please see next section)
To return your unwanted order, please carefully repackage the item(s)
in the manner they arrived with you and then call or e-mail the gallery
to advise you want to return your art. Once
the goods are back with us, an e-mail will be sent in reply to your refund
request. We cannot refund return postage costs unless the goods are faulty. Refunds will be processed with 14 days of safe return.
Any problems with any part of your order must be reported within
48 hours of receipt.
As Photo2 and Digital Wallpaper orders are a bespoke
service, any items that are delivered as described and are in
good condition may NOT be refunded. Damaged items will be exchanged
free of charge.
All 'Pop Art', ‘Comic Art’, 'Collage' canvases and
any other 'Special Effects' will be proofed via e-mail to the
client prior to printing. Please note that we never go to print
without the approval of a proof therefore a delay in response
may affect your issued despatch date.
If you decide not to proceed with a ‘Special Effect’ order
after your image has been proofed, we can refund the canvas cost
but not the additional design fee as the work will already have
been done
Please note the extra charge quoted is per person or object (e.g. a portrait
with 2 people would be £60 extra - please contact
us if in doubt). If you submit an order with more than one person in the
image, you will be contacted by Lucy Art to arrange additional payment.
‘Collage’ Photo2…
The collage fee entitles the client to submit up to 10 images. Any further images
required will be charged at £2 each. If you submit an order with more
than 10 images involved, you will be contacted by Lucy Art to arrange additional
payment.
Due to the bespoke nature of our products, orders CANNOT be cancelled 4 working days prior to your dispatch date and production has commenced or a proof has been agreed. This doesn't effect your statutary rights under long distance selling act and any faulty goods will obviously be replaced free of charge.
Full refunds or exchanges will be made for any items lost or damaged during transit. To qualify, please keep all packaging and/or artwork as delivered and notify us within 48 hours of the item arriving. For weekend deliveries, please email sales@lucyart.co.uk.
Please check the entire box for damage and, if possible, open the parcel and view the contents. Otherwise we advise all customers to sign, "NOT CHECKED" with the courier and score through any small print accepting the condition of the parcel if you have any doubts about damage upon delivery.Please note Lucy Art Gift Vouchers expire 12 months after the date of issue.
